Pai Gow Poker is a modern game with old ancestry. Founded on the ancient Chinese domino game and the current American variation of poker, Pai Gow poker marries the eastern with the western in a fantastic game for starting players.
Pai Gow is a poker game that pits the player versus the croupier, unlike almost all other poker games that players wager against other gamblers. By competing against the dealer, starting players do not need to worry about other, more experienced individuals winning their $$$$.
An additional Pai Gow edge is the generally slow game play, novices are able to take their time and scheme without having to make frenzied decisions.
It is also easier to play for a long time with only a little amount of cash seeing as, to lose, each of your hands needs to be lower than both of the dealer’s hands.
Pai Gow uses 53 cards; the customary 52-card basic deck and one joker. The gambler is given seven cards face up and the dealer is dealt seven cards face down.
One 5 card hand and one 2 card hand must be put together from the seven cards, the five card hand has to be higher than the 2 card hand. To succeed, a player needs both of his hand values to be larger than the dealer’s.
