Beginners Strategy for Double-Hand Poker

[ English ]

Pai Gow Poker is a modern game with ancient ancestry. Built on the ancient Chinese domino game and the current American version of poker, Pai Gow poker marries the far east with the wild west in a fantastic game for early level players.

Pai Gow is a poker game that puts the player versus the casino, unlike the majority of other poker games that players play with other gamblers. By competing against the dealer, starting players do not have to worry about other, more skillful individuals taking their money.

One more Pai Gow advantage is the relatively slow game pace, beginners will be able to take their time and plan while not having to make hasty decisions.

It is also simpler to participate in for an extended time with only a small amount of cash since, to not win, each of your hands must be under each of the dealer’s hands.

Pai Gow uses 53 cards; the regular 52-card standard deck and one joker. The player is given 7 cards faces showing and the house receives seven cards face down.

A 5 card hand and a 2 card hand need to be made from the seven cards dealt, the 5 card hand has to be higher than the two card hand. To win, a player is required to have both of his hand values to be better than the houses.
