Beginners Strategy for Pai Gow Poker

[ English ]

Double-hand Poker is a current game with ancient ancestry. Founded on the ancient Chinese tile game and the modern American version of poker, Pai Gow poker marries the eastern with the western in a great game for new gamblers.

Pai Gow is a poker game that puts the gambler against the croupier, not like almost all other poker games that gamblers compete against other players. By playing against the dealer, new players do not have to worry about other, more knowledgeable individuals winning their cash.

An additional Pai Gow benefit is the relatively slow game pace, rookies should be able to take their time and plan while not having to make quick decisions.

It is also much simpler to gamble on for a long time with basically a tiny bit of cash seeing as, to not win, both of your hands must be under both of the dealer’s hands.

Pai Gow uses 53 cards; the normal 52-card basic deck and one joker. The gambler is given seven cards face up and the dealer is given 7 cards faces hidden.

A 5 card hand and a 2 card hand have to be put together from the 7 cards dealt, the five card hand has to be better than the two card hand. To win, a player needs both of his hand values to be larger than the houses.
