Amateurs Strategy for Pai Gow Poker

Pai Gow Poker is a current game with ancient origins. Built on the old Chinese domino game and the current American variation of poker, Pai Gow poker bands together the east with the wild west in a great game for new players.

Pai Gow is a poker game that puts the gambler against the house, not like the majority of other poker games that gamblers wager against other players. By betting against the dealer, new players do not need to fret about any other, more skillful individuals taking their $$$$.

Another Pai Gow edge is the generally leisurely game pace, beginners are able to take their time and strategize without needing to make hasty selections.

It is also simpler to gamble on for a long time with basically a small amount of cash after all, to not win, both of your hands has to be under each of the dealer’s hands.

Pai Gow uses 53 cards; the regular 52-card common deck and one joker. The gambler is given 7 cards face up and the casino is given seven cards face down.

A five card hand and a 2 card hand must be put together from the seven cards dealt, the 5 card hand has to be better than the 2 card hand. To succeed, a player is required to have both of his hand values to be better than the casino’s.
